Details: Orrefors of Sweden belongs that to that class of manufacturers that are truly the best of the best. They've produced exceptional quality glass and crystal for centuries—and managed to weather the changing market throughout by always focusing on quality materials and workmanship that showcase outstanding design. Nils Landberg was one of their longest lasting and most respected designers, producing literally hundreds of design classics in decades of work with Orrefors. This particular pattern matches others made in the mid-1960s at a point when Landberg was in complete mastery of his craft and vision, distilling his designs down to the essence of beautiful glassblowing.
CONDITION: Excellent, with no chips, cracks or scratches. There is expected light wear to the edge of the underside of the base. Clearly signed on base (see last picture) with Orrefors and code 3986/111
SIZE: 7" high and just under 5" in diameter
CIRCA: Mid-1960s, based on designer sketches and Orrefors code number 3986 (the Orrefors systems are notoriously conflicting and ever changing so absolute certainty is not possible).
SHIPPING: Shipping is free to the mainland US and includes insurance.
